We also treat component parts and small lot sizes. Furthermore, we offer our customers the opportunity to perform preliminary tests and to develop new processes, along with service and support until the product is ready to go into mass production. Benefit from our longstanding experience in all fields of heat treatment! Our strong points are our salt baths, a treatment procedure that meets high quality requirements. Thanks to the outstanding flexibility of our plants we are able to tailor treatments to the individual workpiece. Salt bath hardening allows for procedures that can no longer be achieved by automated industrial plants for reasons of plant technology and costs. Such procedures include the targeted treatment of component parts (within a short cycle time and at low costs), partial hardening, partial tempering and austempering, to cite only a few examples, and all this with minimized distortion. In the case of complicated forms and tools with varying cross-sections, the salt-bath treatment’s involving less clean surfaces than those reached during protective-gas or vacuum-heat treatment is largely compensated by a much greater dimensional stability. |
